Jeremiah 32:40-41
“I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will put the fear of me in their hearts so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.”
Through this passage, we can discover an important reason why God has made an everlasting covenant, promising that He will not leave us and will remain with us.
It is for the purpose of blessing us.
This verse is truly a testimony of the faithful God, the Lord Jehovah, who fulfills every promise He makes.
God did not leave it as just a promise. To actually bless us, He gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ, showing His love.
God, our Immanuel, who is always with us, promises to bless us with heavenly spiritual blessings with joy, with all His heart and mind.
God is committed, with all His heart and mind, to planting us in the land of the living—a holy heavenly Canaan land where there is no lack.
To those who truly trust and hope in God and His promises, and who always keep a reverent heart toward Him, never turning away from Him, every word in this passage will indeed be fully fulfilled.
A day of grace has begun.
Today, as you carefully read, listen to, and meditate on God’s word, may you reflect on the promises He has given, and may you have a blessed day walking with the Lord.
I pray that you will have a day full of blessings, in the name of the Lord!
Amen!
